Deepa Mireles
Strategic Marketing Manager
Why did you join Decision Strategies?
I joined Decision Strategies with three objectives in mind – intellectual stimulation, professional growth and personal growth. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed taking on new challenges and pushing myself to perform. By working as Strategic Marketing Manager I am able to combine my engineering background and MBA to develop marketing and business development strategies to help our firm grow and stay competitive. In this process, I have created the opportunity to challenge myself, and I continue to look for new goals to achieve.

Why did you join Decision Strategies?
Decision Strategies offered the combination of benefits I looked for in a company. The respectful culture, type of work, entrepreneurial spirit, growth potential, and strong financials provided the foundation I needed to stay long term.
What do you like best about working at Decision Strategies?
What differentiates Decision Strategies from other consulting firms I interviewed with is the family atmosphere. We care about each other. We believe in teamwork and a helping hand is just a phone call away. It is truly about the collective success of the company and its people.
If someone was thinking of joining Decision Strategies, what would you tell them to expect by working here.
Join Decision Strategies because you want to be a part of the building process. Decision Strategies is growing and with the many challenges ahead, the company will need intelligent, motivated, well rounded individuals. You will get to look back and know that you were a part of something special and not 1 of 10,000 just “punching the clock”.

Why did you join Decision Strategies?
Kevin Carpenter, now C.O.O of Decision Strategies, was a client of mine during his career at ConocoPhillips. Kevin and I became friends during that engagement and stayed in close contact over the years. I got to learn about Decision Strategies and its offerings over a period of years. In July 2006, I decided to become a part of this high-growth consulting firm and haven’t looked back since!
What do you like best about working at Decision Strategies?
Decision Strategies is client-focused, value-focused decision support. In my previous experiences in consulting, I have seen major decisions made in many ways; some good, some not so good. Decision Strategies’ approach to decision-making is unique, high-value and provides a level of analysis & confidence not provided by anyone else in our industry.
If someone was thinking of joining Decision Strategies, what would you tell them to expect by working here.
The client comes first. If we take care of the client, everything else falls into place. We work hard to satisfy our clients, and sometimes that can inconvenience our personal schedules; however, there are also periods where your schedule will be more relaxed, and you should take advantage of these times to get away and recharge. Decision Strategies offers a package of benefits that are second to none, and as long as everyone understands the priorities, we all can enjoy these great offerings.
